Missions and Ministries

One of the scribes came near and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, he asked him, "Which commandment is the first of all?"  Jesus answered, "The first is 'Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength'  The second is this, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'  There is no other commandment greater than these."  Mark 12:28-31

At Pantops Community Church, we take these words seriously.  As a church we are active all year round in ministering in hands-on ways in our community without neglecting our responsibility to care for our neighbors who live beyond our state line and national border.  We partner with the Virginia Baptist Mission Board and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship to participate in and support world-wide missions.  This page will be updated regularly as we progress through the year to let you know where we are involved in loving our neighbor.  Join us in caring for God's children wherever they live.
