Children's Church

Sunday Morning, 11:00a.m.

Our students are an important part of the Pantops community. We desire to partner with and support parents in raising their children, whatever their age. On Sunday mornings, we craft a special worship experience for children called Children’s Church. Children begin worshipping with our community (which is incredibly important to us) and then depart midway through worship to gather for their own time of worship and learning. Children’s Church is for students ages 3-8. Worship bags are available on hooks in the hallway which provide activities for children while in worship. We also have a Kid’s Corner room directly across from the sanctuary designed as a space for parents to visit with their children if they need a few moments to call down or need a low sensory space.

Kingdom Kids

Wednesday Evenings, 5:45p.m.

On the 2^nd and 3^rd Wednesday night of each month, September through May, children gather for Kingdom Kids. This program is for children age 4 through 5^th grade. The second Wednesday is focused on Bible actives and stories. The third Wednesday is Kingdom Kids Create – an art focused gathering. Dinner is provided each week, and we offer transportation to and from Wilton Farm Apartments.

Throughout the year, we offer children's activities, both at the church and off site. These are not only fun activities, but they allow the children to build the bonds that connect them to each other in a meaningful way.

Summer Music Camp in Partnership with Belmont Baptist Church

In July, Pantops partners with Belmont Baptist Church to organize a summer music camp for preschool and elementary age children. The camp is hosted on Belmont’s Campus. The children learn, rehearse, and perform a full musical production on the final night of camp and spend the week engaging through crafts and sensory activities, Bible stories, and recreation. In 2024 the musical was: Not Your Average Joe, the story of Joseph retold through the times and music of the 50’s.
